	Dear Wine Aficionado, This will be the last newsletter for the remainder of 2009. On offer will be some mixed 6-packs of wine that would look great as a gift or at your table for Christmas Lunch or Dinner. Tonight we will be having our Celebratory Cheers tasting which will feature a selection of wines from a range of styles to match with your celebratory feasting. Our newsletters and weekly tastings will resume in early 2010, we look forward to seeing you then. The wine of the week is the 2007 Louis Sipp Muscat which is a classic off-dry Alsatian Muscat that is different to the sweeter muscats that are commonly made elsewhere. TONIGHT Tuesday 15th December - In store - Celebratory Cheers - 6-8pm Ten days before the Christmas break and we propose some wines suited for the festive season celebrations! We will be featuring some sparkling reds, other bubbles and a cider or two; a selection of whites and reds and even sweeties! The store will be closed on Christmas Day and on the 30th of December for Stock Take. Please note the opening hours for the store are listed below for the following dates. The composition of the soils in the vineyards are a mixture of hard chalk, clay and marl from the Liassic and Triassic periods, sandstone clay, and calcareous, chalky conglomerates from the Oligocene period. The wine presents a pale yellow colour with shimmers of green. The nose is fine and elegant, recalling the Muscat grape. It shows a lovely expression of the fruit on the palate, and exhibits the typical freshness of this grape variety harvested fully mature. Ideal as an aperitif or to serve at a reception. Can be served with asparagus.
